Patmos was in my bucket list and when I finally visit that island I was very happy.

It is called the island of the Apocalypse and linked to Christianity and Orthodoxy. It is a quite island except when tourists from sea cruisers arrived.

You can go there by ferry from around islands for instance Kos, Samos or Port Peiraias. I went from Samos Pythagorio by Nisssos Kalymnos ferry and arrived at village Skala, it is the main port of island.

Chora is the capital of island and it is near Monastery of Saint John.

You can rent a car or motorbike. Also, it has bus and taxi.

TIPS BY ANNA

  1. When you visit a monastery make sure that you cover with clothes all your body.

  2. Go to Grikos beach for swimming. Just go!
